Osaka’s soft skin navigational and marker buoys are designed to ensure clear visibility and reliable positioning in coastal and offshore environments, keeping it afloat even on harsh weather conditions.

Their durable outer layer provides excellent resistance to impacts and weathering, maintaining performance and appearance over time, making them a dependable solution for maritime safety and signaling applications.

We are able to supply IALA Maritime Buoyage System compliant buoys, with their standardized set of colors, such as red, yellow or green; and also compliant lanterns and marking signs.

Weigth 88 181 295 445

These are our smaller standard sizes of Osaka's Navigation Buoys, starting at just 100 kgs of Net Buoyancy, with a diameter of almost 1 m on the base, typically deployed in shallow waters for temporary construction zones, or delimiting fish farms on aquaculture sites, or near quays mainly. These smaller standard sizes go up to 700 kg of Net Buoyancy, with a 2 m diameter body, which are more commonly used in harbors, channels, or even in places subject to stronger currents. These buoys are ideal for most navigation applications, and are the most commonly used size range. Smaller sizes are also available, as they are commonly used in marinas, or in private quays.

Larger sizes of Navigation Buoys start at 10 Tons of Net Buoyancy, achieved with bodies starting at 4 m of diameter. Even larger sizes can be produced without problem, and are typically employed in special projects for deep waters, such as in the Offshore Oil & Gas, or even recently are starting to be used as Navigation Buoys near the Offshore Wind Projects. These larger sizes, as well as our other series, comply fully with the IALA requirements.
